I've been out and about in the motorhome for a couple of weeks. Off to the east coast of England, possibly where the 'family' name originated. Norfolk, then Suffolk, finally Cambridge. I'll write up and post photographs of our Cambridge tour on Monday.
But, a list of bird life: Marsh Harrier, Skylark, Kestrel, Long Tailed Tit, Green Woodpecker, Heron, Reed Bunting, Blackcap, Lapwing, without trying. The Marsh Harrier is a stunning bird, it's hard not to politicise, what right do game shooting enterprises have to kill these and other creatures like them?
Before the Cambridge tour photographs, a thought, we passed the Cambridge careers office, I wonder, is the first question, are you a member of the Tory party?, if yes follow the path marked prime minister.
A final thought, my little gang have been to Oxford, Di's Cambridge, my godson Cambridge, my goddaughter Oxford, I think I prefer Oxford, but the http://www.themillpubcambridge.com/ is very close to changing my mind.
